Human Resources Assistant - Grand Junction, CO
Overview
GeoStabilization presently has an opening for a
HR Coordinator/Admin Assistant in the Grand Junction, CO office. This
person will support the HR clerical function for the entire company to
include but not necessarily limited to:
Responsibilities
- Responsible for HR scanning, filing, copying, faxes and data entry into the computer.
- Assist in preparing employee files keeping them accurate and up to date.
- Assist the HR Director in bringing the HR office into compliance and maintaining a high level of professionalism and accuracy.
- Professional and accurate communication and support with all field personnel as needed or directed by the HR Manager.
- Assist in performing background checks on all new employees.
- Assist in maintaining the Drug Testing Program.
- Assist in completing and keeping up to date Job Descriptions for all GSI positions.
- Assist with GSI Organizational charts as needed.
- Assist with bringing Viewpoint software up to date and keeping the information current.
- And all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements for the position include
- Strong administrative skills are a must
- Strong computer software skills with regards to MS Office (particularly MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Viewpoint software experience is preferred but not required.
