Accountant - Grand Junction, CO

Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable processing, including Check Requests and some PO invoices
- Backup for the weekly check run
- Upload Teaming Partner labor
- Maintain employee labor certifications and employee accounts in JAMIS
- Maintain employee vendor accounts in JAMIS
- Prepare DOE mid-month billing
- Process monthly accruals (must work 8x5 schedule)
- Backup for Travel (E-xpense)
- Backup for processing prepaid lodging and direct-billed car rentals

Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Business.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting.
- Intermediate level of knowledge of the Accounts Payable process, including the payment process; ability to demonstrate an understanding of double entry accounting; the ability to apply knowledge and work in a complex job cost environment.
- Familiarity with government accounting, especially federal government and the Federal Acquisition Regulations, is a plus.
- Individual must be detail-oriented, organized, and also be able to follow complex instructions, have good analytical skills, and have the ability to work with voluminous data and multiple transactions in a team setting.

Create and apply style guides.
Generate, create links, and format Table of Contents.
Create indexes using concordances.
Format tables and documents to match client specifications.
Convert documents to .PDF files and embed fonts.
Maintain formatting consistency.
Provide copy editing and proofreading of documents.
Communicate with supervisor on deadline and/or challenges with meeting deadlines.
Must maintain document version control, tracking changes and layout of document in template form

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Technical Communication, English or related field.

Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support to a team of 15 to 20 technical and management individuals in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Facilitates day to day task operations through scheduling of meetings, making travel arrangements, preparation and submittal of expense reports, deliverable transmittal and correspondence development, coordination with other functional groups including document production.
- Preparing correspondence, compiling reports, and using spreadsheets (Excel) for document tracking.
- Correspondence, tracking of projects/activities with critical deadlines, compiling and preparing reports, preparing agendas and taking meeting notes.
- Prepare travel authorizations and expense reports.

Responsibilities:
- Driving, sample collection, field calculations and notes to include record keeping and data logging.
- Travel and overnight stays required.

Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have experience with field work in environmental conditions to include sampling. Experience in Environmental Remediation back preferred.
- Knowledge and use of radiation equipment.
- Capable of walking on uneven ground and working with loads of 40 lbs in variable weather conditions.
- This position is 50% field work which involves travel. 
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Candidates with safety and health background preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Under limited review, provides a broad range of project controls, life cycle configuration controls, earned value management, project trending and task order modifications.
- Works in an Integrated Project Team (IPT) environment and assists the team in the development, implementation, and maintenance of automated project controls and scheduling processes and tools.
- Provides tools to assist the IPT, Project Managers, and Task Managers in earned value implementation, to include organizing the work (Work Breakdown Structure), developing and managing the cost/schedule baselines, analyzing data, preparing status reports, and managing the change controls process.
- Assists the Project Manager in the monthly project analysis, to include developing estimates to complete and preparing cost and schedule variance reports.

Field Technician III - Grand Junction, CO

Field Technician III

This position is located in the Grand Junction, CO, office and will require up to 70% travel to remote locations throughout the United States.
Responsibilities:
Under minimal supervision, provides mechanical and operational expertise to a facility/site location to ensure full functionality of equipment and infrastructure; provides on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment and site infrastructure.
Occasionally operates heavy equipment, such as backhoes, loaders, road graders, and skidsteers, to perform maintenance on or build new site features, such as roads, stock ponds, culverts, water lines, and well pads; drives a dump truck and ATV.
Identifies or can learn to identify noxious weed species; assists a licensed pesticide applicator in treating weed infestations with herbicide; operates a backpack sprayer and an ATV-mounted motorized sprayer.
Operates a chainsaw safely.
Operates or can learn to operate a hand-held GPS unit.
Operates or can learn to operate utility location equipment.
Prepares field activity reports and project-related safety and health documents, and maintains records of equipment performance.
Builds and repairs barbed-wire fences; installs gates.
Analyzes inspection findings to determine source of problem, and recommends repair, replacement, or other corrective action.
Oversees and directs the execution of engineered construction projects.
Ensures adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations.
Makes recommendations for changes to construction projects based on field conditions.
Prepares construction and operations procedures.
Specifies equipment and project resources.
Records changes and modifications to drawings and specifications.

Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
Position requires a high school diploma, or equivalent, and at least 8 years of experience; or,
an Associate Degree in a technical or vocation field plus 6 years of experience; or, a combination of education and experience that is equivalent to the stated requirements.
