- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Colorado Driver's License
- Valid Colorado Commercial Driver's License and Medical Certificate is preferred

The Clifton Water District is seeking a Water Treatment Plant Operator to join our Team. The position performs a wide variety of duties associated with the operation and maintenance of the District’s Water Treatment Facilities. The Water Treatment Facility is uniquely designed and is unparalleled in employing “leading-edge” membrane technology to efficiently treat the Colorado River.
The District’s state-of-the-art treatment process includes:

• Enhanced Coagulation/Floculation/Sedimentation
• Micro/Ultra Membrane Filtration (MF/UF)
• Low Pressure Reverse Osmosis Membrane Treatment (RO)
• Nanofiltration Membrane Treatment (NF)

The position requires:

• Bachelor’s Degree in environmental sciences, biology, chemistry, or related field or related experience in the treatment of potable water.
• Colorado Class “A” Water Treatment Operator’s License or ability to obtain within 4 years.
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Water System Supervisor/Operator
The Town of Orchard City seeks a qualified individual to operate its Water Treatment Plant and Distribution System.

Position Summary: Primary responsibility is the operation and maintenance of the Town water treatment plant and distribution system. Meets and maintains all state and federal requirements. Able to make necessary repairs, upgrades or recommendations. Assists other Town departments as needed.


Minimum requirements:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• A minimum of four years experience with demonstrated competence in municipal water operations
• Must possess a valid State of Colorado Class A Drinking Water Treatment Certification
• Colorado Level 2 Water Distribution Certificate
• valid driver's license. 

Beginning Rate of Pay $28.00 (DOQ and Certifications) with competitive benefit package.
