Project Control Analyst in Grand Junction, CO

Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. is recruiting for a Project Control Analyst in Grand Junction, CO.




Responsibilities:
- Under limited review, provides a broad range of project controls, life cycle configuration controls, earned value management, project trending and task order modifications.
- Works in an Integrated Project Team (IPT) environment and assists the team in the development, implementation, and maintenance of automated project controls and scheduling processes and tools.
- Provides tools to assist the IPT, Project Managers, and Task Managers in earned value implementation, to include organizing the work (Work Breakdown Structure), developing and managing the cost/schedule baselines, analyzing data, preparing status reports, and managing the change controls process.
- Assists the Project Manager in the monthly project analysis, to include developing estimates to complete and preparing cost and schedule variance reports.

Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance.
- 1 year of related experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of principles, concepts, and techniques in project cost accounting and project financial controls.
- Skill and ability to perform highly complex and critical professional tasks and to solve complex problems.
- Ability to have major impact on organizational success and productivity, with considerable latitude for independent judgment.
- Ability to communicate effectively at the highest levels. Ability to develop and lead projects, including defining scope, objectives and methods.
- Can be viewed as a capable independent contributor and as competent within the broad discipline.
- Level of language skills, mathematical skills, communication skills, reasoning ability and computer skills necessary to perform essential functions of the job
- Strong Excel skills, MS Access and Primavera scheduling a bonus.
- Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
