Water System Supervisor/Operator
The Town of Orchard City seeks a qualified individual to operate its Water Treatment Plant and Distribution System.
Position Summary: Primary responsibility is the operation and maintenance of the Town water treatment plant and distribution system. Meets and maintains all state and federal requirements. Able to make necessary repairs, upgrades or recommendations. Assists other Town departments as needed.
Minimum requirements:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A minimum of four years experience with demonstrated competence in municipal water operations
- Must possess a valid State of Colorado Class A Drinking Water Treatment Certification
- Colorado Level 2 Water Distribution Certificate
- valid driver's license.
