Administrative Assistant - Grand Junction, CO

Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. is recruiting for an Administrative Assistant in Grand Junction, CO.

Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support to a team of 15 to 20 technical and management individuals in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Facilitates day to day task operations through scheduling of meetings, making travel arrangements, preparation and submittal of expense reports, deliverable transmittal and correspondence development, coordination with other functional groups including document production.
- Preparing correspondence, compiling reports, and using spreadsheets (Excel) for document tracking.
- Correspondence, tracking of projects/activities with critical deadlines, compiling and preparing reports, preparing agendas and taking meeting notes.
- Prepare travel authorizations and expense reports.

Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
- Twelve years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant.
- Intermediate level of skill in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and respond to dynamic priorities in a fast paced professional environment.
- Ability to assess expectations and act independently when necessary. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, sensitivity, and confidentiality.
- Requires strong interpersonal skills, positive outlook, and be a team player.
- Ability to assess accuracy of format, spelling, and punctuation.
- Strong time management skills. Ability to understand and implement required processes and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability and experience supporting multiple mid and senior managers.
- Experience interfacing directly with client’s staff and support personnel.
- Candidate needs excellent grammar/spelling skills, demonstrated organizational ability, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
