Reservations Specialist, The Wag Resort - Grand Junction, CO
A high end pet resort located in Grand Junction is seeking a Reservations Specialist. This position is almost 100% internal phone sales out of an office located at the resort. Duties include answering heavy volume of inbound calls for reservations for dog boarding, daycare, grooming and training as well as as outbound calls to existing and potential clients as well as veterinary clinics. Explaining and selling services, gathering information, entering information into the reservations system without errors, managing wait-lists, handling customer satisfaction calls.
Previous experience in the hospitality or guest services industry required, or call center / heavy receptionist experience. Excellent, courteous and professional phone communication skills are essential as is a positive, sales oriented personality with the ability to positively influence a customer. Strong computer and written communication skills.
Must love dogs and understand their owners' needs and concerns.
Position is currently Part Time with high potential of being Full Time by summer.
