 Job Description

Summary

This is a skilled position requiring the oversight of various projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must be accountable for jobs from start to finish.
  • Will coordinate project setups.
  • Will process change orders and subcontract change orders.
  • Add phases and cost types for construction projects.
  • Distribute and review all daily job cost reports.
  • Maintain all job billings.
  • Process Lien Releases for subcontract payments.
  • Prepare certified payroll tables.
  • Must maintain client and contractor relations.
  • Process Month-End accruals.
  • Invoice corrections for construction projects.
  • Assist with RFPs, correspondence and any other clerical duties as assigned.
  • Ability to build and maintain master schedules.
  • Track all asphalt plant downtime records.
  • Backup for area offices including but not limited to payroll, truck tickets, scale tickets, and progress entry.
  • Backup for receptionist.
  • Other duties as assigned per supervisor.

Required Skills

Qualifications

Language Skills

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ration, percent, land to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Computer Skills

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type and use keyboards accurately with 10 key and have knowledge of Database software. Should proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Project).  

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Standard Driver’s License 

Required Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
